ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ವಿಭಕ್ತಿ Dative Case

The case suffixes for the fourth or dative case are ge, ige, and ke

The sixth or genitive or possessive case is the same as the oblique base. The suffix for genitive is a. In many cases the base does not differ from the noun.

Qualify, modify, identify and describe a noun. The following are qualitative adjectives:
ಸಣ್ಣ, ದೊಡ್ಡ, ಅಗಲ, ಉದ್ದ, ಕಪ್ಪು, ಮೋಟು.

Numerals

Numerals are a separate class of nouns. They have the cardinal and ordinal distinction. The numerals are also generally considered as pronouns. They have the inflectional increments. Kannada has traditional transcription of numerals. They are still used in Kannada.

Negative Suffixes

Kannada has negative markers, negative constructions, adjectives, adverbs and the prohibitive mood. There are separate negative constructions to indicate non-existence and to deny something.

ಹೂವು+ ಇಲ್ಲ = ಹೂವಿಲ್ಲ
ಆನೆ+ ಇಲ್ಲ= ಆನೆಯಿಲ್ಲ
